For students in specialized high schools, competency‐based teaching is an urgent requirement to help students develop comprehensively in terms of qualities and abilities and to promote their inherent talents. Teaching activities of specialized high school teachers according to competency approach include 6 contents: objectives, content, form, methods, facilities‐means‐teaching equipment and test and evaluation of the results learning results. The results of the survey on the current situation of teaching activities of teachers of specialized high schools in Hanoi according to the competency approach show that this activity is performed at a good level.
