A world pandemic of COVID-19 cause a hug panic over many countries, different factors contributed in COVID-19 comorbidities and complications like, reactive oxygen species (ROS), ROSs are an essential molecules for normal cell function and immune response during COVID- 19 thus the present study aims to estimate the Association of ROS with covid-19 infection level, A case-control study was conducted to achieve this aim, ROS, age, BMI and duration were studied and its related with infection levels included simple, moderate and severe infection. Results showed non-significant differences between case and control groups in all study variables (age, BMI, duration and ROS). belong to infection levels, non-significant changes in sever infected cases that have lower level of ROS, moderate infected cases have high ROS level, Age and BMI showed significant differences, duration period of infection ranged (7-9) days in non-significant differences. Regarding to gender classification, non-significant changes of ROS that elevated in female that have low duration and age than male in cases group, The correlation between ROS with age, BMI and duration were showed inverse relations in both groups with slight changes and also ROS with duration in cases group. in the study, the infection level of COVID-19 showed that severe infection individuals have non-significant decrement of ROS than other levels, in addition old individuals more suspected to severe infection than young individuals at least in the current study.
