    abstract = {<p>Streptococcus&nbsp;pyogenes&nbsp;emm&nbsp;typing&nbsp;has&nbsp;become&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;the best&nbsp; access&nbsp; used&nbsp; in&nbsp;molecular&nbsp; typing&nbsp; of&nbsp; group&nbsp; A&nbsp; streptococci&nbsp; (GAS). Accurate&nbsp;identification&nbsp;of&nbsp;GAS&nbsp;is&nbsp;an&nbsp;essential&nbsp;part&nbsp;of&nbsp;epidemiological&nbsp;and pathogenetic&nbsp;studies&nbsp;of&nbsp;streptococcal&nbsp;diseases,&nbsp;assist&nbsp;knowledge&nbsp;of&nbsp;the dynamics&nbsp; of&nbsp; emm&nbsp; types&nbsp; in&nbsp; a&nbsp; region&nbsp; &nbsp; thus&nbsp; may&nbsp; threw&nbsp; light&nbsp; on&nbsp; the pathogenesis&nbsp; of&nbsp; GAS&nbsp; infections.&nbsp; Streptococcus&nbsp; pyogenes&nbsp; has&nbsp; been diagnosed&nbsp; according&nbsp; to&nbsp; their&nbsp; morphological&nbsp; and&nbsp; biochemical characteristics,&nbsp;as&nbsp;well&nbsp;confirmed&nbsp;by&nbsp;using&nbsp;Vitek?2&nbsp;system&nbsp;and&nbsp;molecular identification&nbsp;according&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;results&nbsp;of&nbsp;amplification&nbsp;and&nbsp;sequencing of&nbsp;16S&nbsp;rRNA&nbsp;gene.&nbsp;On&nbsp;the&nbsp;other&nbsp;hand,&nbsp;emm&nbsp;typing&nbsp;was&nbsp;done&nbsp;according to&nbsp; the&nbsp; guidelines&nbsp; stated&nbsp; by&nbsp; the&nbsp; centers&nbsp; for&nbsp; disease&nbsp; control&nbsp; and prevention&nbsp; (CDC)&nbsp;protocol&nbsp;guidelines.&nbsp;A&nbsp; total&nbsp;of&nbsp; 93&nbsp; bacterial&nbsp;isolates were&nbsp;obtained&nbsp;from&nbsp;500&nbsp;clinical&nbsp;samples&nbsp;after&nbsp;culture&nbsp;on&nbsp;suitable&nbsp;media, out&nbsp;of&nbsp;these&nbsp;only&nbsp;22&nbsp;isolates&nbsp;were&nbsp;identified&nbsp;as&nbsp;S.&nbsp;pyogenes.&nbsp;Moreover, the&nbsp; results&nbsp; showed&nbsp; that&nbsp; these&nbsp; isolates&nbsp; belong&nbsp; to&nbsp; seven&nbsp; stereotypes (emm&nbsp;104.1,&nbsp;emm&nbsp;28,&nbsp;emm&nbsp;44,&nbsp;emm&nbsp;63,&nbsp;emm&nbsp;1,&nbsp;emm&nbsp;5.103&nbsp;and&nbsp;emm 90)&nbsp;of&nbsp;emm&nbsp;types&nbsp;E2,&nbsp;E3,&nbsp;E4,&nbsp;E6&nbsp;and&nbsp;A.&nbsp;C3&nbsp;and&nbsp;M5&nbsp;respectively.</p>}
